A 20 Year Retrospective

The Exhibit
The Bead Society of Greater New York (BSGNY) is proud to present World of Beads VIII: A 20 Year Retrospective.  This three-day juried exhibit will feature the unique beadwork of our creative and talented members spanning the 20 years of our organization’s existence.  We will bring the excitement, passion and beauty of this timeless art form to the public.  Beadwork demonstrations and FREE Mini-workshops will be presented throughout the event. Other activities include bead vendors, sale of bead books, raffles and a children's table.

Mini-Workshops
BSGNY members will conduct FREE mini-workshops throughout the event on a first come, first served basis. No experience is necessary. You will be able to complete a project in less than a half-hour and leave with a finished piece. Mini-workshops are a great way to learn a new technique with hands-on assistance from the pros!

Beadwork Demonstrations
A variety of beading techniques will be demonstrated by BSGNY members throughout the event. Visitors will enjoy watching a pile of beads come to life under the skilled hands of our multi-talented members. They will share some of their valuable tips and tricks on perfecting these techniques. The schedule of demonstrations will be posted at the Show.

Admission Fee
$5 to the general public.
$1 off for members of other craft organizations with a current membership ID.
